Generosity or judgment?

Help me to guard my tongue and sharp wit today
And to pray instead of speaking harsh and vapid words

Guard my inner steps while marking the pathway from heart to mind
Clear the spiderwebs, prickly brush, the dark and ready thorns

Keep my vision wide, my ears truly open
My lips speaking love, forgiveness, thanksgiving or nothing at all

Keep my heart beating strongly for the rights of others
While it, my mind and soul stand firmly resolved in this prayer
