I read your poem and it reminds me that, thank God, my calligraphy workshops begin again this Wednesday! I have not got around to even making collage cards to send friends for Christmas/New year's/Epiphany/arrgh!
This word "restless" has come up around me three times in the past couple of days: first, here; then we sang the song "Spirit" in church on Sunday, with the line "Spirit of restlessness stir me from placidness"; then at The Website of Unknowing he did a post on "two kind of restlessness." More synchronicity every day, it seems.
It's an interesting connection between restlessness and inspiration.
Fabulous collages and your poem works perfectly with them.
ReplyDeleteYour collages are gorgeous, SS!
