"CELEBRATION"

Today I received notice of acceptance from an art gallery in Seattle for the piece you see on the right. It is a mixed media collage on canvas, 24" x 36" and was selected from work by 96 artists, I being one of the 36 artists chosen.

The exhibit title is "Passion for the Cure" with a percentage of any sale amount being contributed to the Puget Sound Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Themed works were to have the color pink as a major part of the work and you can see that I succeeded in that requirement. I must say that the piece entitled, "Celebration" was a joy to work on from the first glued scrap until the final coat of polymer varnish!

If you find yourself in Seattle for some reason, please drop in and view the work in person.
