Away for a few days -

Hi everyone, I'll be away for a few days. In the meantime, this is a photo of my latest collage. It is a 24" x 36" acrylics on canvas piece and has just been juried and accepted into the Washington State University Tri-Cities Chancellor's Series, to be displayed from January 27 through May 2. I'm happy:)!

  1. The collage is wonderful!

The more collage art I see like this, the more I want to take a workshop and try my hand at it.

Congratulations on being accepted in the juried show.

  4. M - these collages of mine are so funny to me in that I stare and stare at the canvas and then begin working in spurts. This photo shown has one teeny, tiny piece missing as I took the photo and knew I needed another spot embellished. Then I knew it was complete.

  6. Nancy,

Thanks for stopping by and for the tip on HCB. I had seen those FAQ - am wondering though how I place myself in a group, i.e. culture/work/family blogs, etc. I'll probably figure that out myself but a quick tip from someone who knows is always "easier":)
