"Sacrificing all our individual.........

You haven't heard me quote Martha Beck in a long time but I think she often has words of wisdom - these I like –

"Sacrificing all our individual needs doesn't strengthen a relationship.  Mutually supporting each other's personal growth does."

Would that we would all remember to support each other for even tiny spurts of growth in awareness, accomplishment, and spiritual development.  We never know when and what a few well placed words of support from us will do for a friend, family member, or even a relative stranger.  Certainly in my life I am grateful to remember words of kindness and  support from totally unexpected sources – hopefully you too can remember receiving and giving those words.
