| Stormy day on the Maui coast |
In spite of days of rain on Maui, we optimistically showed up at 7:30 a.m. for a scheduled snorkel trip......laughing about the rain and the not so great temperature showing on the dashboard (66 degrees - up to 70) we drove the 45 minute highway to a particular boat harbor and were astonished to be generously awarded for our optimism!
Woohoo - fabulous day of sunshine, delicious boat food, breaching whales, sailing, along with the sea turtles putting on an amazing underwater snorkeling show for us:)! It started raining again as soon as we left the boat - but finding that "sunny window" was terrific!
